Adolfo Gaich scored his first goal for his new club Benevento in their 1-1 draw vs. Spezia.

Gaich, who joined the club from CSKA Moscow in the January transfer window, has managed a goal in three appearances. The Argentine would receive the ball inside the penalty area as he would cut inside going passed the defender and his left footed shot would go through the goalkeeper at his near post to give Benevento the 1-0 lead.

Still only 22 years old, Gaich has represented Argentina at the U20 World Cup and helped the qualify for the 2021 Olympics. In addition, he has already been capped by the senior Argentina national team.

  2. With the WCQ suspended , only one to look forward in March last weeks is our U23/24 NT’s two friendlies being planned in Tokyo. Fernando Batista was supposed to be releasing team list by now . Hoping to see some of the latest local league/ Sudamericana / Libertadores success like Morales , Galappo , payero , Enzo Fernandez , Bernabei , Alex Vigo, Adonis Frias get chances . Also with the U20 WC already cancelled – Almada ,De La Vega & even Velasco should be considered for Olympics team .

  3. Awesome start by Gaich. Hope he makes it count under Inzaghi. He looks capable of developing into a lethal striker. Moving well without ball & getting into positions. Molina also had an important assist ( though his defensive piece seems average ) . I am liking the way Udinese is battling it out with DePaul being the lynchpin. Always felt if Lasanga was replaced by a decent striker their Serie A table position will improve.
    LMQ, Macallister & now Molina clearly starting to settle into starting 11. Balerdi also starting to get some decent minutes & with Sampaoli will hopefully grow further. Its only Palacios who is missing minutes & hope some smart coach in Italy/ Spain is watching & picks him in July. Neuhen Perez also has started getting some playing time in Granada though i was expecting it to be more by now.

    • If the same situation with Gaich happens to Palacios I would expect him to shine. Inzaghi was smart to recognize Gaich’s talents. It seems that the Udinese coach has figured out how to put Larsen into the left wing back role so he and Molina can play at the same time. Any idea what the dates are for the u23 friendlies if they have been confirmed?

      • Didnt see confirmed dates. But batista’s interview 3 weeks back is saying march last week & 2 friendlies in tokyo. Hoping it goes ahead since its anyway the international break
