Charly Alcaraz scored his first goal for Southampton in their 2-1 loss vs. Wolves.

Alcaraz started his first match for his new club and did not disappoint. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to the 20 year old and his initial shot was blocked by a defender but it would fall back to him and his second effort would strike the post and go in to get give Southampton the 1-0 lead.

The 20 year old midfielder joined the Premier League club in January on a four and a half year deal worth £12 million.

    • First of all they play in different positions, so the comparison is a bit unfair.

Having said that, Enzo had more of an impact on the biggest stage that is the World Cup. What was Pedri’s contribution? Not much. Of course, part of that can be attributed to Luis Enrique’s toothless possession tactics but still.

Pedri is a great talent but Enzo was more useful and effective even though he spent less time in top tier European football than Pedro who had been playing for Barcelona for a few seasons. Enzo’s rise has been meteoric and very impressive indeed.

  1. OH man! Hopefully Messi doesn’t get fit for the Champions league match. What a shit show of a team PSG has become post world cup! Their midfield is so mediocre , filled with average players from European nation and their defense is old and slow and their wing backs are below average!!Their striker Etike is the worse no-9 to play for any big club in Europe! Had to they stuck to Icardi, they would have benifited much more than this clown!! Even though Bayern is not playing their best futbal , they are head and shoulders above PSG in teamwork and chemistry. Muller and co will fcuk this shit show PSG in their a$$!! Not even Messi can save this team against Bayern!!!
