Lionel Messi and Cristian Romero are the two Argentine players who will take part in Tuesday’s Champions League matches.
The Champions League returns as the Round of 16 begins on Tuesday with two matches and there are only two Argentine’s who will play on Tuesday. Lionel Messi and PSG host Bayern Munich while Cristian Romero and Tottenham Hotspur travel to play AC Milan.
Lionel Messi was back training with PSG on Monday and the Argentine World Cup winner has four goals and four assists this season in the Champions League. Cristian Romero has helped Tottenham Hotspur keep two clean sheets in the group matches. Here are the matches in the Champions League on Tuesday:
PSG (Lionel Messi) vs. Bayern Munich
AC Milan vs. TOttenham Hotspur (Cristian Romero)
Messi’s track record against Bayern Munich is probably the worst of his career. With both Barca and PSG he ends up on the losing side. I can’t think of any other team he played against with such a track record.
Romero escaped from a red card.
So far 2/2 against Bayern.
Barca defense was trash. Messi destroyed Bayern Munich with proper team. Teams Messi lost with are never meant to Meet bayern. He could not carry them too long.
Both lost today… both seem to be stuck in mediocre teams at the moment
