Rodrigo De Paul gave an interview where he spoke about Argentina’s upcoming matches and Diego Simeone coaching the Argentina national team.
De Paul is part of the Argentina national team for the two matches against Panama and Curaçao later this month. The Argentine gave an interview with El Larguero in Spain where he spoke about it all. Here is what he had to say:
“It will also be a little party for us too because it’s the first match and it’s to show the World Cup. We’ll probably be celebrating, we are really looking forward to it.
About the ticket sales and how everyone wants a ticket:
“I believe Argentina also showed a bit of passion with which they faced this World Cup and it’s no wonder. It’s crazy, a lot of people are going to be left out and it’s been crazy for several days, but I think they’re organising it pretty well.
“Obviously we are playing in a great stadium like the Monumental which holds 82,000 people. But even so, there are going to be a lot of people who will be outside. It’s going to be crazy and I hope the people can enjoy it and so can we.”
He was also asked about Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone coaching Argentina:
“He has everything and more at Atleti, but well, I think he also has that illusion of coaching his country.”
