Juan Foyth of Villarreal has undergone surgery on his dislocated right shoulder.

Foyth will be out for an undetermined time as it will depend on how quickly he heals. The 25 year old suffered his injury in Villarreal’s last match against Rayo Vallecano.

He has not been called-up to the Argentina national team for the matches in June.

  1. “Liverpool appear to be very close to announcing their inaugural summer signing, and the Daily Mirror are reporting that Alexis Mac Allister will be presented with the prestigious number 10 shirt upon his arrival at Anfield.”

  2. Recently, in an interview with MARCA, Toni Kroos placed high praise upon the Argentine: “This lad (Nico Paz) should be training with us every day because he’s exceptional,” Kroos told the Spanish outlet. Such acknowledgment from a seasoned player like Kroos holds immense significance and is a huge honor for a young player like Nico Paz.

    • That, or(and) Scaloni does not see anymore how he fits tactically. Molina and Montiel while not flawless have proven to be a lot more useful at RB. I would have thought Scaloni could use Foyth as a back-up centre-back but he seems to be moving in a different direction (Balerdi, Medina, Perez, possibly Senesi too at some point later).

      • This guy is made of glass or has bad luck… Or both. Thankfully we are covered in this position for now. I really like how montiel has been playing over last three months, even as a sub for Sevilla
