Inter are reportedly one of the teams interested in signing Nicolás Otamendi of Benfica.

Nicolás Otamendi is not expected to renew his contract with Benfica and will be joining a new club on a free. According to both JorgeCPicon and Matteo Moretto, Inter are one of the teams interested in signing him and have already started contacts to try and sign him this summer.

Otamendi joined Benfica in 2020 where he would go on to captain the club and win the Primeira Liga this season.

  1. MacAllister’s ability to hold on to possession under pressure situations and create great passes is what makes him a best fit for Liverpool. However, I truly feel Lo-celso is far more creative but not as consistent and fit!

    • The best version of Lo Celso is probably better than Mac Allister in terms of creativity, dynamism and link-up with Messi. But as you pointed out, he is much more injury prone. Mac Allister is better at scoring goals. Lo Celso is not a 90 minute player either in my opinion, 70 minutes at most, whereas Mac is.

  2. 🚨 Brighton have identified 24yo Bologna midfielder Nicolás Domínguez as their prime target to replace Alexis Mac Allister this summer. Roberto De Zerbi has ‘requested’ the club sign him – he would cost at least €20m. Qn_carnilo

    • Bologna have offered the Argentine a new contract however he has not accepted it. Sevilla have also shown interest however Brighton are the most interested team and the possibility of selling him to them ‘obviously attracts’ Bologna from a financial point of view. From Brighton bubble

    • But there are many midfielder ahead of him in Argentina and you have to accept he is an average player. Even robertone of Almeria have a solid season in Spain …

      • I remember last year a fan insulted me on Facebook after confronted him for saying Dominguez is better than Enzo Fernandez.
You remember the same time after Locelso injury rumors said that Scaloni would drop Enzo Fernandez in favor of Ezequiel Palacios, but thank God it turned out not true.

    • Either Brighton or Sevilla would be a nice upgrade over Bologna for Nico Dominguez. He is a decent player and both De Zerbi and Mendilibar can probably get the best out of him. Either way time for him to go to a better club.

  3. Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool, here we go! Full agreement completed on the contract — understand it will be valid until June 2028. Five year deal. #LFC

Liverpool will pay the buy out clause in the next days, way less than reported £60m fee.

Remember a year ago we were discussing macallister not good enough and now likes Martin Keown saying he is outstanding player while Simon Jordan believes Liverpool underpaid Brighton for his price

    • I was one of those who doubted mccalister this time last year 😂.
I am happy he is going to a big club, I just wish it wasn’t Liverpool. I hope he progresses with them tho.
There is a large rumor going around in Germany that Bayern are prepping a crazy deal for Alvarez. Don’t know how true it is, but they are in need of attacking players and they have the funds right now.

      • You are not a lone on that , I was one of those who doubted him too, the matter of fact everyone in here doubted him except insider and csabalala and some other guy, i forgot his username.

    • I doubted Mac Allister too but to be fair, that skepticism was probably warranted. I think he was not that impressive in the qualifiers and before. But boy, he just exploded on the most important stage and delivered big time.
