Ángel Di María has confirmed that he has left Juventus.
Di María took to Instagram to state that he has left the club. The Argentine joined them last season on a one year deal and was one of their better players this season. He scored four goals in Serie A while also having four assists, had three assists in the Champions League and four goals in the Europa League.
The World Cup winner stated the following on Instagram:
“The end has arrived for a difficult and complicated step. I am leaving with the peace of mind of someone who has given everything for the club to continue winning titles but it has not been possible.
“I leave with this sour taste of not having been crowned but with the happiness of having many friends in this marvellous locker room that we formed.
“Thank you to all of my team mates for so much support that they gave me from the first day, I always felt at home. A very big salute to everyone at Juventus for the support from the first days. A big hug, I have you in my hearts.”
