Gio Simeone signs contract, stays at Napoli until 2026

Gio Simeone has signed a contract and will be staying with Napoli.

Simeone will remain a Napoli player. The 27 year old spent last season on loan at Napoli from Hellas Verona in a season where he would win the league.

Napoli have confirmed the transfer and he has signed a permanent deal from Hellas Verona keeping him until June 30, 2026. The Argentine scored four goals in 25 Serie A match, while also having four goals in seven Champions League games and one goal in one match in the Italian Cup.

He is presently with the Argentina national team as they tour Asia but did not play in the team’s 2-0 win vs. Australia on Thursday.
