Luka Romero reportedly set to join AC Milan on long term deal

Luka Romero is reportedly set to join AC Milan on a long term deal.

Romero is expected to leave his current club Lazio but will remain in Italy. According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, AC Milan want to advance on the signing of the Argentine.

The 18 year old is presently a free agent and Fabrizio Romano states that he will join them on a long term deal. Romero was part of the Argentina U20 national team which competed at the U20 World Cup last month.

  1. It’s not common for Italian clubs to give their youth much playing time, at least not the bigger ones. If he played for Sassuolo, Cagliari or Genoa he might be starting a lot more. Not sure if he is going to start much in Milan. La Liga, EPL, Ligue 1 and even Bundesliga are more likely to give minutes to their U23 players.

  2. I watched him during the U20 WC and I was impressed, he’s quick, fast agile and fires the ball with lots of pace.
