Negotiations have started over Mauro Icardi’s transfer to Galatasaray from PSG.
Galatasaray released a statement on Friday announcing that official negotiations have started with Icardi and PSG. The 30 year old spent last season on loan at Galatasaray.
Icardi scored 22 goals in 24 league matches last season, helping Galatasaray to a league title.
He rejected a better offer from Saudi to stay at Galatasaray! It will be his last chance to salvage his career. Currently there is a shortage of World class no9s in Europe and if he continues his form from last season into this year then he will reattract a lot of intrest from top 4 league. Regarding his comeback to the national team, it all depends on Scaloni. We already have 2 world class strikers and both of them are better suited to coach’s game plan. Icardi is a pure poacher like Haaland and these type of players only contribution is to score goals and if they fail to do that they provide nothing with and off the ball.
Funny enough this guy never converted any Messi assist at PSG 🤣😂😂
