Enzo Fernández speaks on his position on the pitch, Lionel Messi, Mauricio Pochettino

Enzo Fernández spoke about his position on the pitch, Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami and Maurio Pochettino.

Fernández will be starting his first full season as a Chelsea player and he will have a new coach. Mauricio Pochettino will begin his reign as Chelsea and and speaking in an interview with ESPN, Enzo commented on speaking with Pochettino and his position on the pitch:

“Pochettino and I spoke about where I feel the most comfortable. I like to play in a more advanced position and the function that I am going to fulfill this year is going to be that. Playing in a double five but with much more freedom.”

The World Cup winner also spoke about Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami:

“At PSG, he was not happy and now that he has changed clubs. He is happier and I am very happy for him, for the moment he is experiencing.

“He looks much happier, he is enjoying time with his family. I’m happy for him.”

    He is most comfortable in a more attacking role from the midfield. He gets into scoring and assisting position multiple times only to be ignored by other less competent players. With Poch as the coach, I hope that will change! Enzo is a goal scoring CM!
