Gerónimo Rulli was substituted out injured for Ajax in their 4-1 win vs. Heracles.
Rulli started the first match of the season for Ajax in the Eredivisie but was replaced after only 32 minutes. The 31 year old went out to catch a ball and colided with Heracles forward Juzz Hornkamp.
The Argentina national team play in the World Cup qualifiers next month and was likely going to be called up to the team. Argentina play Ecuador on September 7 in Buenos Aires.
Lionel Scaloni’s team will play a second match against Bolivia on September 12 away from home.
