Julián Álvarez scored his first goal of the season in Manchester City’s 1-0 win vs. Newcastle.

Álvarez scored the goal which made it two wins out of two to start the Premier League season for the reigning champions. After scoring in the UEFA Super Cup penalty shootout, the Argentine scored the only goal of the match to give them the win.

The 23 year old received the ball just inside the penalty area and his effort beat the goalkeeper and gave Manchester City the 1-0 lead which would prove to be the win.

  1. Foden was on fire 🔥 Julian shot was unstoppable. Haaland misfiring badly.. but nice to see the team is united and happy. I’m glad diva Mahrez is not there..
