Argentina U20 player Juan Gauto joins FC Basel from Huracán

Argentina U20 national team player Juan Gauto has put pen to paper and signed with Swiss club FC Basel from Huracán.

Juan Gauto will be continuing his career in Europe. The Swiss club announced on Monday that the 19 year old winger has joined them on a five year deal, keeping him at the club until June 2028.

Gauto joins for $4.2 million and will wear the number 23 shirt. He was part of the Argentina U20 national team at the U20 World Cup earlier this year as he played in three matches.

  1. I think he could have been good enough for at least Portuguese league but Swiss league it is. Huracan lost one of their better players.
