Exequiel Palacios scored for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-2 draw vs. Bayern Munich.

Palacios has now scored for the second match in a row for Bayer Leverkusen, this time in injury time. With Bayern leading 2-1, Leverkusen were awarded a penalty in the last kick of the game.

It was the Argentine who took it and he scored late in injury time to draw Leverkusen level.

  1. Julian Alvarez was excellent today, his playmaking is making City forget about De Bruyne’s absence. Almost scored a golazo from a free kick and had two assists. He was also everywhere…

  2. A very good player, but fitness and form always an issue for the NT. Not every player is meant to start for Argentina. My guess is MacAllister, and Enzo are 100 percent starters at the next WC providing they are healthy, and same with DePaul. Palacios is a great sub to have with those players, and we have loads of quality midfielders coming up.
On a more important note, why the hell would Barco want to go to Man City to sit behind Gvardiol as they play the same DAMN position? Young players need to play, and literally any team in the Premier League is better for him to play rather than go to City. I’d prefer Tottenham or Man United, at least there he can play with Cuti or Licha, but any other team would do. He will not replace Gvardiol in City, just won’t happen, even if he is better due to the price tags.

  3. Good player but very injury prone, much like Dybala and Celso, so for now I don’t think it’s wise for Scaloni to rely on him, atleast not unitl he proves his fitness but one can’t deny that he seems to be coming into his own under Alonzo.
Speaking of midfielders I checked out Varela yesterday and he had a very good match, so he’s one to watch out for.

  4. Palacios is cooking, he becomes key under alonso, soon fcbayern will try sign him if he continues to form as they usually do pick up best players in bundesliga from thier rivals
