Exequiel Palacios extends contract with Bayer Leverkusen

Exequiel Palacios has signed a contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen.

Palacios has been in great form for Bayer Leverkusen and has been rewarded with a contract extension. The club announced on Tuesday that the Argentine World Cup winner will be remaining with them until 2028.

The 24 year old signed with the German club in December 2019, joining them in January 2020 on initially a five and a half year deal. He has two goals and two assists in five Bundesliga matches this season.

    • True! They know a big team will eventually come for him and the longer the contract higher the transfer fee. Last couple of seasons, he had too many fitness issues and I was worried they wouldn’t renew his contract but this season he has raised his game to next level.
