  1. Alvarez was underwhelming today. His poor run of form continues in EPL. He wasted 3 important chances , for a striker of his quality not even putting 1 out those 3 chances in , says a lot about his poor form. And with KDB fully fit and Haaland coming back soon, he is destined to be benched. Also, Pep making him play multiple positions in the same match is not helping him at all.

    • He played good, created a lot chances (4) made constant runs, was everywhere, good passing (absurd 97%) his chances were not that big btw 0,4 xG overall.

      • His passing and decision making has certainly improved but his finishing has gone down hill a lot. All three chances he misses he was open and had quite a bit of time but one he shot directly at the keeper and other skied it.

    • I agree his finishing has been awful of late but my big issue is his positioning. He needs to improve and stop playing as a 10.
Also if you noticed Alvarez stop pressing that much, he left that to Phil Foden 😂😂
