Lautaro Martínez scores twice and reaches 18 league goals in 18 games with Inter

Lautaro Martínez scored twice and reached 18 league goals in 18 games with Inter. His team won 5-1 vs. Monza on matchday 20 of the Serie A.

The Argentinian striker scored the second goal for Inter in the 13th minute. He pushed the ball inches away from the goal following a fast run into the penalty area. In the 84th minute, Martínez scored to make it 4-1 from the penalty spot. While Monza’s goalkeeper dived to his right, Lautaro shot with power to the middle. Inter ended up winning 5-1 and they remain at the top of the Serie A standings.

Lautaro now has double the number of goals in the league than those in second place in the top scorer’s chart. He leads in goals with 18, while Berardi, Calhanoglu and Giroud have nine goals.
