Ángel Di María scored and reached 10 goals for the season for Benfica in their 4-1 win vs. Rio Ave.

Di María continues to score. The 35 year old received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and his strike hit the roof and the top corner of the goal to give Benfica the 1-0 lead.

The Argentine has six goals and two assists in the league, one goal and one assist in the Champions League, two goals in the Alliaz Cup and one goal in the Portuguese Super Cup.

  1. I don’t know if Di María should start in the Copa America or use the double 9 with Lautaro and Julian. Those 3 with Messi can’t play all together. It would be an extremely offensive team.

    • We don’t have a replacement for him. Nico Gonzalez’s iniury problems are back and Garnacho is nowhere near Dimaria’s level. The only other option is to play Alvarez as a left winger/forward with Lautaro centre and Messi right.
