Paulo Dybala scored a hattrick for AS Roma in their 3-2 win vs. Torino.
Dybala has made it six goals in his last four matches, reaching 11 goals and six assists in 18 Serie A matches with AS Roma. With the score at 0-0, AS Roma were awarded a penalty and it was Dybala who took it.
Up stepped the 30 year old and he would go to the goalkeeper’s left and the goalkeeper would dive the wrong way and Dybala would score to give AS Roma the 1-0 lead. Torino would draw level just two minutes later.
The World Cup winner would score from well outside of the penalty area, placing the ball into the corner of the goal to give AS Roma the 2-1 lead. Dybala’s third goal would arguably be the best of the bunch.
He would play a one-two with Lukaku and Dybala would get the ball at a difficult angle and the Argentine would score his third goal of the match.
Dybala would be considered in any national team in the world.

Damn…. why do Lautaro and Dybala, the two bad players we dislike who are clearly not good enough for national team, play so well? It must be a conspiracy of all the European referees, coaches and football associations against the totally fair and unbiased AFA selection process.
To be honest in Dybala’s case, no coach actually made an honest attempt to integrate him into our starting xi. Also his glass body and world class team-mates help him stay on the sidelines. 2018, Messi, Aguero and Dimaria were in their prime. 2022, Scaloni had put defense as no-1 priority and he tried his best to avoid conceding first and this approach made us the world champions.
If Dybala wasn’t so injury prone, I could see him challenge Kevin De Bruyne as the most threating attacking player in the world today. He can score better goals and create chances out of nothing but can’t stay fit for more than 3 games in row! But what a hattrick from him yesterday.
