Paulo Dybala scores and Leandro Paredes assists for AS Roma in 4-0 win vs. Brighton

Paulo Dybala scored and Leandro Paredes had an assist for AS Roma in their 4-0 win vs. Brighton in the Europa League.

Dybala made it 14 goals for the season for AS Roma, scoring off an assist by Leandro Paredes. With the score at 0-0, Paredes played a pass, deep from midfield to Dybala and the Argentine would score to give AS Roma the 1-0 lead.

The 30 year old has eight goals in his last eight matches for the club.

    • Don’t kid yourself. Dybala has been one of the best players of Europe for the the last two years despite occasional injuries, for several years before that in Juventus except the one season where he was almost entirely unavailable. Makes no difference to his prospects (or lack of it) in the national team even if he is fit. He was Serie a MVP in 2019-20, but was given only 200 minutes in the national team.

  1. His form under new manager has reaching his peak days at Juventus. Best Argentina player in Europe with MacAllister at second spot.

    • Lautaro should be up there somewhere. Ahead of MacAllister for sure, arguably ahead of Dybala as well. If not for his injury breaks, Dybala would be undisputed number 1.

Di Maria has been great too, but he does play in a league without as much competition.
