Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni spoke about Alejandro Garnacho, stating that they have a lot of expectations of him.
Lionel Scaloni held a press conference on Thursday where he stated that Lionel Messi will start for Argentina vs. Guatemala on Friday. Scaloni also spoke about Alejandro Garnacho. Here is what he had to say:
“He’s well, he’s training with us. He’s a kid who we believe should come in when the match gives us a chance.
“We have a lot of expectations of him, but we have to take him the way we believe, talking to him and that he has to do things much more often. He has that quick 1 vs. 1 that he has to do more often, that he has to carry out.”
Alejandro Garnacho did not play in Argentina’s 1-0 win vs. Ecuador on Sunday.
