Lisandro Martínez and Leandro Paredes are likely to start for Argentina vs. Chile at the Copa America.
Martínez and Paredes are set to remain in the starting eleven. According to Gastón Edul, they are likely to be in the line-up for Tuesday’s match.
Leandro Paredes played 77 minutes in Argentina’s 2-0 win vs. Canada as he was substituted by Nicolás Otamendi. Lisandro Martínez played the entire match.

Why so much hate on Molina? Yeah he is a type of player who needs time to gel with the team. Looking back into past tournaments the improvement he possess from the first match to the next match is extra ordinary. If he is in the mood, the attack will flow smoothly from wide areas and very good recovery rate and runs back with full effort and a good defensive ability. For me he is always one of the best full backs in the world. Acuna and tag is perfect atleast for this copa.
One player i want again to reborn is de paul. Argentina never ever produced a player like de paul. I made this statement not in terms of talent but pure commitment and effort for albiceleste. Oh what a gem. I hope the coming generation and this generation of midfielders follows de paul. I would always pick prime de paul instead of prime riquelme or prime redondo playing in a tournament for Argentina. 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Molina has been very good till World Cup. After that his speed and mistakes cost us the match against Uruguay and several attacks in the first half from Canada. I agree with De Paul. But Riquelme was a far more talented player and he also put his heart to the national jersey. This whole current team is dedicated to the Argentine cause. Some of them lack world class talent but try to overcome that by working hard. Sometimes that would not work. I hope Scaloni knows that and, hence, somewhere down the line in this tournament itself, he needs to bring in new talents like Garnacho, Lucas and Carboni in the starting XI or at the 60th mark.
You gonna need these two for sure especially after last night’s terrible game, Chile/Peru was horrendous on all levels.
