  1. I like the proposed changes, Tagliafico is a more balanced fullback, more often than not pretty solid. Nico or Lo Celso gives us either verticality, work rate and diagonal running into the box from Gonzalez or dynamic midfield presence and link up play from Lo Celso. Di Maria or Garnacho off the bench can wreak havoc on a tired defense. If Otamendi starts, Tagliafico is a must as insurance policy, Acuna will leave him exposed. I hope Lautaro starts too and Julian can add fresh legs and his relentless pressing as a sub.

    • Would there be a chance, that Scaloni will start both as Nico.G perhaps on the right and Lo Celso on the left..? Just curious how SCALONI would play it up front…?

Messi obviously in the free role, but I quess he will need support from both sides..?

Or will SCALONI, perhaps..go for more a kind of narrow set of lineup on the field..?

  2. Why not Garnacho instead of Nico? It would be a huge boost for the young man. Nico has not been playing well for the national team off late. His heart is still very much there, but his brain which produces the quality has not been in the right place. I am not sure if this is a right decision by Scaloni in such a critical match.
