Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez could both start, possible Argentina back line

Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez could both start for Argentina and the possible back line.

It is possible that both Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez start for Argentina. According to Fernando Czyz, do not rule out both strikers playing together up front for Argentina vs. Ecuador on Thursday at the Copa America.

For the back line, we could see a different back line than the one that started vs. Peru. According to Gastón Edul, the back line could be Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martínez and Nicolás Tagliafico.

    • A midfield without De Paul!!! He is a leader irrespective of the quality that he brings to the pitch. You cannot undermine that leadership quality. Messi is better than Di Maria in terms of leadership quality. In the same way De Paul is better in leadership quality compared to other midfielders in our team.

  1. …….. Julian … Lautaro…….
    Nico… Mac…pared…depaul
    Tagla… Liz… Cuti… Molina

Is my guess to the starting line up. I would like to see the midfield be: Garnacho . Mac. Palacio. Depaul

    • Would you suggest this even if Messi is fit and fine? The amount of space Messi has been creating for himself and for others in big matches has been amazing in the last few years even if he is not being able to score.
