Lionel Messi posted an emotional Argentina national team message before the Copa America final.

Messi took to Instagram to post an emotional message talking about the Argentina national team before the Copa America final on Sunday. Here is what Messi wrote:

“Last day of the Copa America. Once again, we reached the final… This incredible road would have been impossible without the hard work of everyone, the ones who are seen the most and the ones who are always behind the camera. Thanks to everyone for the effort and passion, to all the team mates and the coaching staff, to the Argentina national team staff and all Argentines who came to the United States to encourage us and to those who could not come but support us from our country and also from other places where they live.

“A big hug to all, vamos Argentina.”

  2. To all those FIFA coaches here. I hope now you understood why we played slow against team like Canada. If Canada striker was lethal and experienced then they would have won easily yesterday. They had more chances and outplayed Uruguay completely.

  5. Yes, he did look tensed in 2014 final. He was neither smiling not arguing nor communicating. The outcome did not go in our favour. He missed jolly good chances. He did not say “Come on, Higuain!” after Higuain missed that chance. That defeat made him look even more tensed in 2015 final. He was again trying very hard and did not communicate well with the team on field. The 2015 loss intensified his worries in the final of 2016 and he missed the penalty. In 2019 3rd place game he was leading his team against Chile till he was red carded for doing nothing. Rest is history. 2021 final – he led the team against a solid Brazilian attack. He was shuffling around to create space for others. Then came the sublime pass from De Paul. 2022 final he was involved in every thing and leading the team. 2024? Just being curious.

  10. So excited for this match! Di María is going to play his heart out just like in other finals. He HAS to score a goal, right? Isn’t that what he does in finals?
    I’m so much more relaxed than before the World Cup final and especially the last Copa America final. Fútbol can be crazy, there’s no guarantee of a win, but I know they are going to play well and if they do, they almost always come out on top.
