  1. No one to be blamed..
Pitch is not an excuse.. bcoz both team suffered..
Bringing extra defender and reduce the midfielder position is good tactics by scaloni… bcoz you are not going to make any combined pass in the middle.
Pitch is very worse in the middle, More water…
Only way is to play direct football..
Long ball from defense to striker or Winger to attack on goal..

    Players gave their full effort…
Montiel to be blamed for the equalizer..
Ota barely can do something out of nothing in the aerial duel..
    But it’s OK..

  2. Why is messi still playing? He should have retired after the world cup. He hasn’t done anything since that.. pezella has no shame to make himself available still.. scaloni and company is very stubborn

    • Let him enjoy in the pitch; his retirement is coming soon.
He struggled a lot with NT shirt in the past..
      Pain & sorrow.
Hiis later part is fruitful with NT ..
Don’t be odd with your comments.

Scaloni should have made a change in the 75th minute by bringing on Lautaro. He could have kept Alvarez and subbed Messi.

But still, I accept Scaloni’s decision. At the end of the day, he’s the one managing the team; we aren’t.”

  3. The last time I watched Argentina play real football was the WC final. This team needs a lot of improvement and some players should leave the team for good. But the the problem is Scaloni doesn’t have the courage to tell those plsyers the truth.

    • Scaloni is ruining his good achievements. It seems no matter how bad some players Perform, they will still be guaranteed spot in the NT. Let’s stop giving excuse about the pitch. Infact Venezuela had some dangerous counters only to be saved by the water 😂🤣🤣.

  4. 6 defenders in the field
I have never ever seen such a defensive minded
Plz scolani show some fighting skill
Don’t gift us such defensive game

  5. Otamendi was beaten in the air yet again, safe to say he’s no longer a beast in the air, Montiel also burned by Soteldo…

    • I don’t think we can judge any of the players based on this game. If you watch the ball, it would move like normal than just stop due to water. The only thing we can learn is how scrappy this team can be, and they proved that they are real warriors.

  6. Hope players remain safe today. They shld not have started game & should have taken another 1 hr for clean up. 6 mops are too less to clear water. Unfair pitch for all players & luck will play a big role in today’s outcome.

  7. By the way, the game is delayed due to heavy rain. If you are able to tune in, they are using large squeegie like things to try to push the water off of the pitch.

  8. Other than Pezella the team looks fair. May be Scaloni should have given someone new a chance in defence.
