Emiliano Martínez wins Yachine Trophy for Best Goalkeeper award

Emiliano Martínez has won the Yachine Trophy for the Best Goalkeeper award.

Martínez was named as the Best Goalkeeper in the world. The Argentine has now won the trophy twice, in consecutive years.

With the Argentina national team, Martínez won the 2024 Copa America and was named as the Copa America best goalkeeper.

  1. I didn’t see any goal keeper coming close to even challenging Emi for this back to back best world keeper in the world award. He might not be the best technically gifted keeper but when it comes to making clutch saves nobody even comes close to Martinez!!

    • Fully agreed @EnganChe and GOYCO, FILOL were very good as surely other names could be easily mentioned too, but when it comes to DIBU, well he is just BEYOND!

      So, so happy he got his move from Arsenal to Villa and…, well the rest remains in history of football FOREVER!
