Javier Mascherano named new coach of Inter Miami

Javier Mascherano has been named as the new coach of Inter Miami.

Mascherano is the new coach of Inter Miami and will be taking over after the club receives his work documents. His coach staff has not yet been announced.

The Argentine will be stepping down as coach of the Argentina U20 team and Diego Placente is expected to be named as the new coach. Speaking on Inter Miami’s website, here is what Mascherano had to say:

“To be able to lead a Club like Inter Miami is an honor for me, and a privilege I will strive to make the most of. I was drawn to the organization’s undeniable ambition, and the infrastructure it has to support it.

“I’m looking forward to working with the people at Inter Miami to help the Club reach new heights, and to give the fans more unforgettable moments.”

  1. Tata’s inability to fix defensive issues at Miami forced Messi to pick Mascherano who is a natural defensive player. However his track record isn’t that satisfying as a manager so far!

  2. I have never seen a rubbish fullback player like Denzo Dumfries. He is one of the main reasons Inter is struggling in Serie A. Poor Lautaro Martinez must be feeling frustrated. Inzaghi’s tactics are awful.
