  1. Time to move on from Montiel and look for other options in the right flank. Pablo Maffeo could be a good backup option to try. Same with Acuna, Guido, Pezzella & also Otamendi. They have slowed down a lot and on top of that Foyth is back from injury. If Foyth can pick up form he will be a great backup to Romero. Also, Licha’s club form is worrying. If he brings his poor form to national team then we will need a non elderly to take his place.

    • Foyth is back? Where the hell has he been? I mean good God it’s been well over a year since he had that shoulder injury.
Maffeo is a good call SulaV and don’t forget that Nehuen Perez can play RB as well. Montiel is a warrior that served the NT well but it’s time to move on.

    • It is just baseless rumors. Messi is not CR7 willing to take over any offer to go back to Europe. He knows he is done with European futbal and is focusing on 2026 and only easier MLS league can keep him fit and less exhausted! Also, Pep needs high pressing players to cover his fragile defense and Messi isn’t that player.
