Emiliano Buendía is close to joining Bayer Leverkusen from Aston Villa.
Buendía could be playing for the Bundesliga champions. According to César Luis Merlo, Aston Villa are negotiating the final details of a loan deal for the 28 year old until June with an option to buy.
The Argentine joined Aston Villa in 2021 from Norwich City but missed the 2023-2024 season due to injury.
Good move if true, he really needs to get out of Villa where Emery has almost frozen him out even though they’re running on fumes and need all the talent they can get.
Buendia is a big talent and if he can find some playing time somewhere he can regain his form and rejoin the NT because I really believe he’s talented enough.
