  1. Alvarez -Simeone combination is becoming deadly. They are very fast and competent. Ready to run full minutes, helping the team in all areas. I think Nico Gonzalez’s place as third forward player should be given to Simeone now.

    • I think Nico Gonzalez spot is safe because he will play on the left wing. The problem for Guiliano is that he is a ring wing player mostly, where Messi and De Paul operate. By the way, Giuliano Simeone is the most improved Argentine player IMO, he is giving me Lavezzi vibes, so useful and not one dimensional workhorse anymore.

      • Nico Gonzalez is in dismal form. Scaloni makes a big deal of nobody’s position being safe. If that is true, then Giuliano Simeone, Benjamin Dominguez etc should have Nico’s place in the first team given their respective form. Even Soule has been playing much better than Nico for the past couple of months.
