Lautaro Martínez scores for Inter vs. Bayern, qualify for Champions League semi finals

Lautaro Martínez scored for Inter in their 2-2 draw, 4-3 aggregate win against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Martínez, Joaquín Correa and Inter qualified for the semi finals of the Champions League after Bayern took a 1-0 lead. Ar 1-1, Inter were awarded a corner kick and the ball fell to Lautaro who scored to draw Inter level.

The Argentine becomes the first Inter player to score in five consecutive Champions League games and has scored eight Champions League goals this season. Inter would score one more and as would Bayern but Inter would win the tie on aggregate.

Inter will play FC Barcelona in the semi finals with PSG playing Arsenal in the other semi final match.

  1. Am rooting for Inter Milan. However one thing I don’t like about this team is they have too many old players. Their midfield should be Abit more compact. Lautaro did his part but likes of barella and hakan çalhanoğlu should up their game as midfielders.

  2. Can we just move the WC to the end of this year? we certainly would destroy the competition!

Lautaro has scored winning goal in Copa America 2024 final, a winning brace in Coppa Italia final, goal and assist in Finalissima, goal in Supercoppa final.

Harry Kane and Haaland still yet to score a single goal in any final. Ok, Kane scored one on the mighty Tiger cup!

  3. Lautaro on one of his hot streaks and it came at the right time. As you all said, all 4 teams are worthy of being there and for me it’s:

    26% PSG
    26% Arsenal
    24% Barca
    24% Inter

Needless to say it’s really close! I give PSG and Arsenal a higher chance simply because they don’t have to worry about their domestic leagues (PSG already won it while Arsenal already lost theirs) so they can concentrate on the CL while Inter and Barca still have all to do to win their respective leagues.

  4. I’m glad for these 4 teams as the final 4. I want Lautaro to win it because he’s the only Argentine left in the competition. But I wouldn’t mind any of the other teams winning it. I’m just glad that Bayern and Real were knocked out. I know that PSG kinda sucks, but whenever a new team who hasn’t won before wins a competition, I’m happy for them.
