Lionel Messi spoke about playing at the 2026 World Cup and winning the 2022 World Cup.
Messi spoke in an interview with Simplemente Fútbol about if he will play the 2026 World Cup. Here is what he had to say:
“This year will be the important to see what I decide regarding the 2026 World Cup. Obviously I’m thinking about the World Cup and being able to be there, but I’m living day by day.
I” have to be honest with myself to know if I can be there or not.”
The Argentine also spoke about winning the World Cup with Argentina:
“I can’t ask for anything anymore. I was missing the World Cup. I’ve won it all, I’ve achieved everything.
“I have the World Cup in Barcelona, stored there. All the trophies and awards are in Barcelona.”
