Giovanni Simeone won Serie A with Napoli after their 2-0 win against Cagliari.
The league in Italy came down to the final match day and it was either Napoli or Inter who would win it. Napoli had a one point advantage going into it and a win for them would secure the title.
Inter would win 2-0 against Como with Joaquín Correa scoring but Napoli would also win 2-0 to win the league title. It is only the club’s fourth Italian title and Giovanni Simeone’s first trophy in Europe.
