Lionel Messi scores a free kick for Inter Miami in 3-3 draw vs. Philadelphia

Lionel Messi scored a free kick for Inter Miami in their 3-3 draw against Philadelphia.

Messi made it six goals and two assists in 10 league matches with Inter Miami this season. With Philadelphia leading 3-1, Mascherano’s team were awarded a free kick.

It was Messi who took it and the Argentine would score, placing the ball into the top corner. Messi would also play a role in the lead up to Inter Miami’s third goal of the match.

  1. Union Saint-Gillois won the Belgian league after 90 years, and Kevin was an integral part of it, playing as an RCB and often performing the roles of an RB. Didn’t make the pre-list this time as well. Scaloni should try this guy as right back

  2. There are some solid rumors that Madrid has spoken to Enzo and apprently Enzo also seems quite interested! I would strongly advise him to rethink this move. Real has Bellingham & Valverde in the simlar position and then Touchameni & Camavinga deeper. However there is a saying that, if Madrid wants a player they get their player!

    • Madrid wants him because they wanna play him more deeper than Jude like as replacement of Kross. And frankly he is way better in deep play making role than more advanced. I like this move only coz I know Alonso will make him even better. English league is never for Midfielders I feel like that i don’t know about you guys.

  3. I’m very worried about Garnacho. Manchester United has a history of just hating Argentines in general. He needs to go to Italy or Spain. He cannot afford to waste time under a coach who has driven his team to 15th in the league.

  4. In the case of Garnacho, a very immature person at a horribly run team. No player is successful there. Truth is Garnacho at this point is at a crossroads. Be a nothing wasted talent or go to a club that will give him minutes and he has to accept hard coaching and put in the work on the practice pitch.
In the case of our other youth, almost all that go to a big club from local clubs are wasting their career sitting on the bench. Look at echeverri’s minutes;next to zero. The path is to take less money for 1-2 years and go to a mid level euro club like Benfica, Sevilla, and countless others so they physically mature and then they can go after the big clubs and perform with regular minutes. MacAllister, Enzo, Molina, DePaul, Cuti, Lisandro, almost all our players that grew went this path except Julian who stayed at River for a couple extra years until 21-22 where he would not be denied at city and even then he left because of minutes. These big clubs destroy way too many young players. Guys like Alejo Veliz that should be blossoming right now or Anselmino that get shit on by managers and rich owners who don’t care how much they spend. Nico Paz is another example. Zero at Madrid and now a young star with minutes.

  5. Everyone are blaming Emi but Aston Villa were playing for Champions league spot and he took one for the team!

Chelsea & Enzo are in the champions league and they will buy a new striker which is absolutely necessary if they want to utilize Enzo’s progressive passes and positioning! Hope he stays at Chelsea, Madrid already has Bellingham who plays in similar position.

Garnacho needs a team and a coach that can coach him to become a more team player. If he can improve his IQ then he will be lethal but he has to improve his finishing!

Scaloni might consider Dominguez after a very good season with Nottingham forest! However the competition in the midfield is very tough but his fitness might help him ahead of injury prone Locelso & Palacios!

    • When it’s last time palacios got injury all this season played injury free, lo celso yh
Scaloni can try Dominguez as right back because there is no way he will have a chance as midfielder even Enzo Barrenechea will be ahead of him as he had a great season in la liga plus many clubs are after him

    • I’m not yet sold on Garnacho’s talent however but here’s an interesting facts…

Garnacho before age 21 has 26 goals + 18 assists
CR before age 21 has 22 goals + 19 assists

If Garnacho can work on his finishing touch, he could still be a top class player.

      • I know. But seeing the kid doesn’t look like he is working on anything. I feel like fame got to him. Hopefully he can get a coach who can guide him all. Napoli will be a mega move for him and towards right direction.

        • I wouldnt say its just down to fame, the whole team was so bad ,even Lisandro Martinez hardly able to helped them much. Maguire is the Heskey of defender.

        • CR was surrounded by top class players and managed by SAF. For comparison, Garnacho played in a sinking ship and was managed by ETH in his first 2,5 seasons.

CR best feat at that age was scoring in FA cup final against Millwal (first division club). Garnacho best achievement was scoring in FA cup final against Man city.

Also, CR actually forgot how to dribble after 2008 season and started to became a full time #9 so he can statspedding.

  6. Echeverri might get the debut in the PL today as a sub. But i still doubt why pep suddenly put him in a final and an away match against fulham. Last home match against Bournemouth seems easy and risk free and he didn’t even include echeverri in the squad. Now a hard away game and he included him in the squad. Total strange things from pep.
