Enzo Fernández scores and wins the Conference League with Chelsea

Enzo Fernández scored for Chelsea in their 4-1 win over Real Betis in the Conference League final.

With the Spanish side leading 1-0 and the English team desperate to equalize, the Argentine midfielder found the back of the net in the 65th minute, heading in a cross from Cole Palmer inside the box—sending the Chelsea fans into celebration.

After that crucial goal from the former River Plate player, Chelsea took control and overpowered Betis in the closing minutes, scoring three more goals to claim the first Conference League title in the club’s history.

With this victory, Enzo Fernández has now won all five international finals he has played in:

  • Copa Sudamericana 2020
  • Recopa Sudamericana 2021
  • FIFA World Cup 2022
  • Copa América 2024
  • UEFA Conference League 2025

On the other hand, Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso came on for Real Betis in the 85th minute of the final held in Poland.

    • Lautaro already scored in finals of Copa America, Finalissima, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa , I wouldnt bet against him. He’s also heavily involved in Messi second goal in WC final.

Another interesting fact about Lautaro… this season he has scored in every stage of UCL

Something interesting about Argentine scoring in CL finals…

Messi scored 2 goals in CL finals (2009 & 2011) and won both
Milito scored 2 goals in CL final 2010 and won
Crespo scored 2 goals in CL final 2005 but lost on penalties (he’s injured and subbed off)
      Lautaro?
