  1. So much crying after a pointless match LOL so Columbia fighting for their life match cant beat Argentina? Without the red card we could have won. And again pointless friendlies and qualifiers is not Scaloneta level anymore it was in the dark 90/2000s when Argentina always failed when mattered and won when not. Looser mentality. I remember before last Copa about the same crying. Black belt tournament team, perform when matters, no Riquelme generation level choker mentality anymore.

  2. As i said before, Messi shouldn’t have played, ESPECIALLY vs Colombia who will play dirty and might injure him and 2, the younger faster players should have instead.
Colombia’s goal was nice and you can’t debate that but Argentina was unlucky.
Colombia obviously more desperate and Argentina was sloppy.
Messi didn’t look happy coming off but that was expected and somebody needed to save him from himself.

There is must’ve hell in your head. Just relax and enjoy the moment and have little faith. Stop throwing away your toys from pram. Also have some respect for coach and his co ….they won everything they touched so even if they lose today it’s okay we will learn something. This game made us better and I am happy we made mistake.

      • Yes, in a game like this misstakes happen and ENZO’s red same like Nico.G’before. Almada’s goal was a good and well placed shot from him once again. Hopefully in next game someone else than Molina start’s, though i don’t want to bash him or neither Medina, but Molina been out Of form for so long with club and country and Medina’s position is LCB. Also i do understand, that there are not, that many options for RB so maybe would be better to play with 3 at the back and with wingbacks until somehow some other RB will be found..? Though Giuliano did not have good game today, but Nico. G played good!

Time to move on and to learn a lot from this game. Ota’s speed is worrying more and more and he won’t get any faster. He should deffenetly not be starter. Well, i know as i keep on playing, that same old broken record….

Other fullbacks must be found if playing with 4 at the back and they nerd to be given proper minutes as Tagli is simply not enough and he won’t get any younger either. Also time to find who could play as possible wingback’s as currently i can only think Of Nico G. Barco and Giuliano( not fully convinced) and rotally out Of form Molina…. Again this process should had started right after WC and the very latest after last COPA, but again it is easy for me keep on repeating this mantra over and over….

        • Scaloni can’t risk calling otamedi unless he has no option. Am afraid he will end up being a time bomb defensively.
I expected scaloni to experiment Kevin lomonaco; disappointed he didn’t call hardworking midfielders like Juan nardoni and Alan varela. Lastly he should start trusting balerdi and exequiel palacios.

  4. At this stage in his career, Messi isn’t about full matches anymore — he’s about impact.

He’s essentially a super-sub with a master’s brain. Even 20–30 minutes of Messi can be the difference in matches like this — especially if Argentina needs a spark or a moment of brilliance against a compact Colombia.

  5. got to admit Diaz scored a beauty against 3-4 of our defenders. I think started with a depaul mispass. It will be a blot if we lose both qualifiers vs Colombia. But i think this team will still atleast equalize. The theme of the game has been our ineffective possession & Colombians having dangerous counters. Medina is a makeshift LB who cant attack. So wrong choice totally.
I am only irritated with the fact we have topped group & why cant we atleast now give youngsters more minutes. Balerdi , Simeone & Paz should have started. Also coach should have tried Barco instead of Medina as LB. Its ok to lose . But atleast our youngsters end up getting good minutes

    • Which coach will replace him. About new players, you should know international football is not like club football where you sign new players. You use the one’s available. There are many players out there yet to be called like Soule, Valera, echeverri, Valentin Gomez etc.
      Scaloni is here to stay!

  6. Argentina is the strongest team in the world bla bla bla. Wake up to the bitter reality. This team is in a very bad shape at the moment and if it continues like this never expect any good from it. The other day someone who is escaping from the reality and truth called me a Spain supporter hahaha.

  7. This is the time to sub in Paz and play Depaul and Enzo deep. Molina, Medina and Otamendi, these three are struggling. Scaloni has to try new defenders in the sqaud specifically for these three. Also I would go ultra aggressive with Nico for Medina and Simeone for Molina.

  8. I am glad Colombia has exposed our defense! Medina & Molina are both struggling! We need to reinforce our back line with quality players! We could be in a 2018 like situation again, if we stick with some of the current players in our squad.

  9. This is typical bullshit Argentina hero worship shit. You have half the fucking team that’s washed. Paredes is going to Boca yet he starts. Ridiculous. Otamendi was washed up last World Cup and he still hangs around like a smelly fart. DePaul is trying to be a fucking model. What am I missing.

  10. Scaloni should take this opportunity to give playing time to younger players. With Argentina already qualified for the 2026 World Cup and sitting comfortably in the standings, this is an ideal moment to experiment and allow rising talents to gain valuable experience.

    • Colombia defended well and looked dangerous on the break. We had more possession but struggled to create clear chances.

Scaloni should bring more attacking changes in the second half. Colombia look solid and motivated to secure points.
