Facundo Medina and Thiago Almada will start for Argentina against Colombia on Tuesday.

Medina and Almada will both be in the starting eleven. According to Gastón Edul, Medina will replace the suspended Nicolás Tagliafico in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier.

Thiago Almada is also in the starting eleven, having started in Argentina’s 1-0 win against Chile. Here is the rumored eleven:

  1. Very surprised, that Balerdi may not get to start even after his good performance against Chile..?
Would had like to see 3 men backline : CUTI, Balerdi, Medina ( where subs like Foyth could have got some playing time for example and maybe even Lomonaco…)
In this way Nico G. could had played as left wing back and Barco could had subbed in later on for him.
Also young Simeone as right wing back who could had been replaced with Molina. Almada or Paz could had played in more advanced role with Enzo and De Paul on the middfield etc…. Like 3-4-2-1, 3-4-1-2 or 3-4-3….
