Franco Mastantuono joins Real Madrid from River Plate

Franco Mastantuono has joined Real Madrid from River Plate.

Mastantuono has signed a deal with the Spanish giants. Real Madrid announced the signing on Friday, stating that he will be joining them as of August 14 until June 30, 2031.

The Argentine will take part in the Club World Cup with River Plate later this month. At 17 years of age, he is the latest Argentine to join Madrid from the Argentine club.

He recently played his first match with the Argentina national team, having been substituted in during Argentina’s 1-0 win against Chile in the World Cup qualifiers.

  1. After Mastantuano signature, Nico Paz may be not playing for Real Madrid. Como wants him to stay. Bayer Levekusen, Inter Milan, Manchester United etc are interested.

  2. Now there are 4 Argentine players in Real Madrid..!
    1. Mastantuano
    2. Nico Paz
    3. Carlos Diez – Real u19.
    4. Castelau – Real Youth GK.

  3. Roma is linked with Augustin Giay. “News sources in Brazil confirm that one of Roma’s main targets for the right flank is Augustin Giay of Palmeiras.”

If Giay actually moves to Roma and plays semi-regularly under Gasperini who just took over, that would be great. It will suddenly give us a fresh option at RB that has been missing. Gasperini tends to develop young talents well.

  4. When I told about Franco mastantuono many people laughed at me.
Now see he is signed for one of the biggest club of the world Real Madrid. Biggest sale in argentine history.
He is called by xavi Alonso personally.
Wanted many many big European clubs.
He was the best player of argentine league for last 3 or 4 months.

    • Calm down, these big clubs buy players all the time, hardly use them and then gets rid of them. A few examples are Odegaard (Arsenal), Nico Paz (Como), Endrick (still at Madrid but hardly plays).

    • First of all nobody laughed at you and second of all Mastantuono didn’t accomplish anything as of now, so be humble a little bit bro.

Alexis Mac Alister was the player that got the most hatred in this forum lately but he proved all haters wrong. Won a WC, Copa, and EPL, and he is now one of the best midfielders in the world. This is what is called success.

      • He didn’t accomplish any thing.
        Check before comment.
He is here after , he was the best player of one of the biggest club of south America riverplate and one of the best player of argentine league.
He caught attention of almost every big European clubs.
Coach like Luis Enrique personally wanted him.
Try to give respect to player.
        Don’t undermine others achievements.
I understand since Franco Mastantuono not your favorite player it’s very difficult for you to digest his success.

        • What respect? The only thing the kid has won so far is a Supercopa lol, but you are talking like he is like Alvarez who nearly won everything. Nobody is hating on Franco. I hope he becomes a superstar for Madrid and make the Brazilian kid Endrick live under his shadow, but give him sometime and see how fares against the challenges that lie ahead of him.

    • Mastantuano is technically intelligent player. Good in Dead ball, good in passing, dribbling and scoring.
His off the ball movement, recoveries, and willingness to defend are very important.

Xabi wants him as starter at the earliest, once he settled.
That’s a good sign and shows the quality of the player. He is just 17, and can improve to a world class if he gets regular playing time.
