An agreement in principle has been reached for Cristian Romero to join Atletico Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur.
Cristian Romero is nearing an exit from Tottenham Hotspur to play under Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid. According to Fernando Czyz, both clubs are nearing an agreement for €55 million and €10 million in add-ons.
Romero is presently on vacation but has had conversations with Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone. The 27 year old joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2021 from Atalanta.
I hope Cuti moves to Atletico Madrid. Yes, Cholo has been bad lately but Cuti is somewhat injury prone and he would decrease his chances of injury in Spain. We need him healthy.
