Enzo Fernández and Chelsea in semi-finals of Club World Cup after win vs. Palmeiras

Enzo Fernández and Chelsea are in the semi finals of the Club World Cup after their win against Palmeiras.

An Argentine will be playing in the final of the Club World Cup. Enzo Fernández started for Chelsea in their 2-1 win against Palmeiras with Aarón Anselmino on the bench.

Chelsea took the 1-0 lead but Palmeiras would draw level. At 1-1, it was a low cross into the penalty area which was deflected off Agustín Giay and he would score an own goal that would give Chelsea the win.

For Palmeiras, Aníbal Moreno and José Manuel López both came on as substitutes in the match. In the other quarter final match, Fluminense with Germán Cano and Juan Freytes won 2-1 against Al-Hilal.
