Advanced negotiations for Claudio Echeverri between Manchester City and AS Roma

Negotiations are advanced between Manchester City and AS Roma for Claudio Echeverri.

The 19 year old could be joining AS Roma on loan. According to Daniele Longo, negotiations are advanced between the two clubs and Echeverri is open for the move.

At the moment, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola’s approval is missing. There would be no issues between Echeverri and AS Roma regarding the deal.

Claudio Echeverri joined Manchester City from River Plate last season.

  1. I’m happy he is leaving to get some playing time. Also, the media in Argentina is destroying DePaul for going to InterMiami and rightfully so. This guy cannot be a starter in MLS and be a starter on the NT. I don’t give a shit how much he has done in the past. No serious person thinks you can win another WC with two MLS players starting even if the other guy is Messi, an older not the same Messi as 2022. So frustrating that DePaul is raising the white flag and doesn’t even understand the drop off in talent level in games. I hope Scaloni is smart enough to think ahead for a new starter for DePaul, Otamendi, and maybe a couple more.

      • This is a major Argentina problem that has always existed even until today. There is WAY TOO MUCH hero worshiping that happens in football and we ALWAYS end up paying the price. These players are telling everybody including Scaloni that are willing to listen that they are done, bags packed, gone. One and done. Yet we ride the same dead horse out there again.
A cautionary tale on hero worshipping is Boca Juniors. Riquelme is a God amongst Xeneize. Yet this guy has driven the club into the ground. When he drove them into the ground, he started digging so he could destroy them even more. Now the fans are paying the price. Yet nobody dares coming out and saying this malcontent sucks at his job and nobody wants to play for him, nor does he have a freaking clue what he is doing. The same shit happened with Mascherano under 20, who sucked, and frankly Scaloni was a gift from the football Gods. They tried chasing him out too before he started winning. It even exists in Argentina politics. This bullshit needs to stop.

  2. Any move from Baldy is a blessing. His approval record of Argentians is too low even if it is an earned one like Alvarez. Pep’s mind would overthink to end up picking Foden,Doku,Silvinho etal than Jewels like Echeverri and Alvarez.
