Mac Allister was in the starting eleven for the Premier League champions in their first league match of the season. With the score at 0-0, Mac Allister played a pass in to Hugo Ekitike who scored to give Liverpool the 1-0 lead.
The 26 year old played 72 minutes before being substituted out. For Bournemouth, Marcos Senesi started while Julio Soler was an unused substitute.
