Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni spoke about the Finalissima against Spain.
Lionel Scaloni has commented on the Finalissima match against Spain that is set for Match of next year. Argentina are expected to play the Euro winners, Spain, next year in the Finalissima before the World Cup.
The reigning World champions also won the last Finalissima, winning 3-0 against Italy at Wembley. Speaking in an interview with Pablo Giralt, here is what Scaloni had to say:
“I would have preferred not to play the Finalissima before the World Cup. There was time to play it before. Spain couldn’t because of the Nations League, which was invented by them and killed us in South America.”
