Argentina starting eleven confirmed, Lautaro starts, Franco Mastantuono wears number 10 shirt

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has announced the starting eleven for Argentina against Ecuador in the World Cup qualifiers and Lautaro Martinez starts as Franco Mastantuono will wear the number 10 shirt.

Lionel Scaloni has made several changes to the team which started the 3-0 win against Venezuela. Leonardo Balerdi comes in for the suspended Cristian Romero, Gonzalo Montiel in for Nahuel Molina, Alexis Mac Allister for Thiago Almada, Nicolás González for Franco Mastantuono and Giuliano Simeone for Lionel Messi. Here is the starting eleven:

Emiliano Martínez; Montiel, Balerdi, Otamendi, Tagliafico; De Paul, Paredes, Alexis Mac Allister; Simeone, Lautaro Martínez and Nicolás González

  1. It was balerdi’s fault to otamendi’s red card but again otamendi should let it go valencia dibu would have save it

  2. Foyth is head and shoulders ahead of Ballerdi and current Otamendi and is faster than both, I am quite shocked that Scaloni is still sticking with Otamendi. Imagine him against Mbappe in the world cup. Also it is quite disappointing that Scaloni has failed to find a proper fullbacks to replace Acuña and one of Montiel/Molina !

    To much loser mentality,
    Slow & Neymar type overacting, why not nico Paz instead of RDP
