FIFA announced that more than 1.5 million ticket applications were submitted within the first 24 hours of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Visa Presale Draw. Fans from 210 countries have applied so far.
The highest number of applications came from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Argentina was among the next group of countries with the strongest demand, along with Colombia, Brazil, England, Spain, Portugal, and Germany.
The Visa Presale Draw is the first phase of ticket sales. Applications will remain open until 11 a.m. US Eastern Time on 19 September. The timing of an entry does not affect the chances of being selected.
Successful applicants will be notified by email starting 29 September. They will then receive a date and time slot to purchase tickets, beginning 1 October, subject to availability.
Ticket prices for group-stage matches start at USD 60. Single-match tickets for all 104 matches, as well as venue-specific and team-specific packages, will be available.
Subsequent phases of ticket sales are scheduled to begin in October. FIFA advises fans to purchase tickets only through FIFA.com/tickets or official hospitality channels.
