Argentina drop to third place in latest FIFA rankings

The Argentina national team has dropped to third place in the latest FIFA rankings.

Argentina won one World Cup qualifying match and lost another as they lose their first place spot after three years. Spain is presently in first place with France in second place.

Lionel Scaloni’s team is in third with England in fourth place. Portugal are in fifth with Brazil in sixth place.

Netherlands stay in seventh, as does Belgium who stay in eigth. Croatia are ninth and Italy in tenth place.

  1. OH you bet I am paying attention but not so much to the players (even though Montoro is showing potential in Brazil) but rather Placente himself. I’ve been very impressed with him since the u17 days and thus far with the u20s he’s been excellent and I for one will hope that he continues this run in the u20 WC because he may very well be Argentina’s best choice to take over from Scaloni after 26.

    • I second to that..plus I will add Crespo to the list, especially because he has already won some silverware and tactically flexible manager.
      We have many other talented coaches..not expecting them to take over NT

  2. Guys pay attention to our U20 team ,a really strong team despite without some players from Europe .Lots of talent youngsters to name a few
