Argentine forward Santiago Castro played a decisive role in Bologna’s 2-1 home victory over Genoa on Matchday 4 of Serie A. The victory lifts Bologna into eighth place in the Serie A standings and keeps them in the chase for a European spot.
With the home side trailing, Castro struck in the 73rd minute with a brilliant backheel finish inside the box, showing great quality to bring his team level. The match was ultimately decided in stoppage time, as Riccardo Orsolini converted a penalty in the 99th minute to secure all three points.
Bologna had lined up from the start with Benjamin DomÃnguez, while ValentÃn Carboni came off the bench for Genoa in the second half.
Santiago should be our 3rd Striker not Castellanos!
Chelsea needs to bench Enzo! He has been struggling and overshadowed by Caicedo who is justifying his price tag .
MacAllister is coming back from an injury and isn’t at his best yet. But he is a midfield boss, his vision a IQ should bring his form back soon.
Foyth has to be our starting CB along with Romero! He is far better than Ballerdi and plays regularly in the most technical league.
Enzo fernandez is played out of position by chelsea manager is the prime reason for his off form .
Agreed.
Agreed. Although in Enzo’s defence he was playing out of position and while being a ’10’ isn’t THAT different from his regular loose CM role, playing out of position in a game when you’re down to 10 men very early on can put alot of strain on everyone.
Agreed.
Agreed. Foyth’s only issue has been his injury record but that seems to have subsided after his shoulder op and subsequent long absence. Even his occasional big ‘gaffs’ (where he lingers on the ball for too long) seem to be gone (cross fingers). Add the fact that he can play both CB and RB (useful when a defensive RB is needed at a certain moment) and I agree that should backup Cuti.
Lastly I would like to see either Medina or Senesi get a shot at LCM because Balerdi did not impress and Otamendi shouldn’t be starting anymore.
