  1. I think we have a chance this year.
Sarco, Carizzo and Perez really impressed so far. Subiabre is doing good. I want to see more of Mateo Sylvetti.

  2. To be fair this U20 WC is the weakest ever, based on transfermarkt the TOP75!!! highest valued 2005+ born players are all missing from the tournament. The real stars are not here. Argentina squad value is the highest, opponents are very weak, even Brazil or Spain. From the 15 most valued players 7 are argentines, a must win tournament, no excuses really.

  3. Placente is very good at tactics and promoting youngsters. first match using 4231 ,this match 3411 using Tomas perez as an extra CB which really work .Australia isn’t that weak .fist half the problem is Julio soler and montoro the left side didn’t work than second half he take out montoro by andino ,Soler by Villabal then this match is secured . Surely he is the most suitable one if scaloni quit

  4. Clinical finish by U20 boyz.
The team had the Sr NT DNA of possession football, smart transitions , ability to quickly winback ball & also concede late goal😊. But where they looked positively different is they did not panic in last 15minutes & actually played aggressively. The last 2 goals was a testament to a positive spirit. Placente also shares Scaloni’s expressionless face when we score!!!
Except for the one-off brain fade by Barbi , everything looked good. Somehow our jr team GK is always a time bomb. They play well for most of the match & then make a horrendous error.
While Carrizo, Subiabre, Delgado expectedly impressed, Gorosito & Perez were the positive surprises. Gorosito also had a solid run in U17WC. We are also in a fantastic position when our CF is sitting with 3 goals & smoking hot form by Sarco. Prestianni looked more sharper than Montoro for now. But i still believe Montoro will grow into the tournament.
The cherry on the cake for the day is Brazil beaten by Morocco. Hoping Spain also beats them off in final game. Mostly we should be running into one of the 3rd placed teams like Panama in Round of 16. I dont expect this team to lose to Italy & we will top the group.

  5. No matter the result this team has huge potential.

    post match review

Maher Carrizo : Promising winger ,speedy ,skilful di Maria type .play well but need to improve his shooting skill. National team material

Tomas Perez : another player I really like .this match play as a central back and score a goal .good game .He is definitely the best No.5 in future . Tall ,Skilful, good at both defense and attack .Tomas perez ,Equi Fernandez, Barrenechea should be our future No.5

Sarco : powerful ,strong ,technically good ,Alvarez type score a goal again .National team material.

Andino : a great surprise ,proper winger fast and powerful look like Nico Gonzalez type

Pagano : though miss this match ,he is better than Julio soler

Julio soler: never convinced me ,the worst player in this match .overrated

Alvaro montoro :Disappointed again that’s why he was sold to Brazil .his problem are physically weak and slow

Acuna : just a standard player not that eye eyecatching compared with U17

Gorosito good performance ,has potential but still a bit far from national team material

Pierani and Ramirez : good performance but still need huge improvement ,surely sold to Europe later.

prestianni : better than montoro ,useful look like papu Gomez

SUBIABRE : THOUGH score again ,didn’t prove himself is better than carrizo. his problem are height and slow

Barbi : a big mistake ,but overall performance is acceptable. this guy may need more time to improve .Look like Rulli type

Delgado : great surprise ,good game however he may not be as good as equi fernandez .look like banega type
